Desperate need of camera help..

Hey lovely ladies right so this post is solely for my own benefit ha as I really really need some help when it comes to buying a new camera!
So im the type of person that never takes photos when i'm out at a party or just ever really, i have a normal  digital camera which I got a few years back and well I hate it, i hate pretty much everything about it, I pretty much end up editing every picture as they never look how i'd hoped!  So this year before I go away I'd really like a new camera for many reason but also to blog with and take amazing high quality picture i see so many of you have on your blogs.

Number 1. I no nothing about cameras, and I mean nothing! (which is strange since my mother is a professional photographer) I don't have a clue which is best for me but i'v hared a lot about bridge cameras and asked around and this seams the best type for my needs?? Please let me know...

2. Im the sort of person who drops things, know as the dropper to my boyfriend, a pricy camera would not be an ideal match for me and when i mean pricey i mean nothing over £300 people!

3. As i said I don't take photos ofter, I rely on my snap happy friends to take picture which I then steal and upload and tag as my own on facebook ha! So I need something easy to use so I can get the hang of things and post lovely pics on my blog.

4. I don't no much about makes and models but I found one that I like the look of but haven't got a clue about heres the link... FUJIFILM S3280

So any help you can give me would be great, I really just need some opinions on which type are best, cheap, reliable, easy to use.. you get my drift!
