No carbs before marbs... diet time!

So on Monday I started my low-no carb diet and really wanted to keep an update on how It's going...

It's soooooo HARD! haha Basically the low-no carb diet means you cut out all the carbs, pretty simple right. Well that means no pasta, chips, bread, rice etc that I can live without but what I didn't realise if how many grams of carbohydrates there are in all types of foods! The max you can have is around 40grams but if you really want to go for it try cutting it down to 20-25g (this is what Im doing)

So iv found myself looking at the amount of carbs in everything and OMG theres a lot I didn't even realise like plain yogurt has 15g just in that small tub and so on.. God knows how many grams I was having in a typical day. So far has been good, drinking 2L water a day and sticking to my diet. Heres what iv had so far:
Day 1- Vanilla yogurt, chicken salad, apple, veg soup, 3l water
Day 2- Scrambled egg(1), soup, an orange, 1 homemade turkey burger with salad, 2l water
Today was day 3 and I had soup (again) for lunch, and a veg stir fry with prawns for tea, 2l water

As you can see its not that hard because you can pretty much have meat, fish and veg as much as you want it just for me getting use to it rather than my usual pasta, pizza, chicken and rice, that sort of thing. I eat pretty healthy anyway. I think Im finding breakfast the trickiest as I would have cereal or toast which is now not allowed and the thought of making and having a warm breakfast everyday seams weird and oh very time consuming.

I hoping to keep this up for 2 weeks at least until my audition and if I can see even the slightest improvement on my weight then Ill keep it up. I've taken a pic for my before and after and my current weight and finger crossed ill lose at least 2lbs by the 2nd April...

Wish me luck :)

  5. I find that the best diet is one where you can still eat whatever you want. Portion size is what matters and with that, exact measurements. Diet is a majority of it, but exercise has always been what makes me feel good.
I hope your journey goes well and you achieve your goal =)
